- Focus on accuracy
- Have your child create their own flashcards
- If you ever find yourself doing these facts in your head, ask your child if they can help you with the answer
- Give students an answer and see if they can tell you addition and subtraction equations that equal that number
Cursive
Week 3 lowercase letters are: p, r, s, t
I was pretty proud of the comments that were posted on last week’s cursive video. I love hearing what you are most excited to write. I would love to see more specific comments on the focus letters of the week. Don’t forget to keep working on past letters/words too. I already have noticed improvements from last week so you should be very proud of you hard work.

The letter t is easy and p is hard.
I can’t wait to learn more words in cursive!!
I love to learn cursive!!!!!!!
I want to practice more Rs in class
My favorite letter so far is the letter T.
Same! My favorite letter so far is also t.
I like the letter r.
I can not wait for week four!
My favorite so far is s.
Me to!
S is easy for me and r and t! P is hard!
Me to!
I’m so happy that we are learning t because I’m Tate
The r was a little bit tricky but all the others were simple because I already new how to do them. I can’t what for next week!
My favorite letter so far is t and s.
I was confident with the letters p,r,s,and t. I love making the t the most.
I am exited that I know 12 letters in cursive already!
I thought the R looked easy when I looked at it but when I tried to write it, it was hard. I think the word pit was hard to write. I thought fire was easy for me because the letters in it were easy except for the R.
This week is so cool because there’s so much petty letters.
Wow, we have some excellent comments this week! I love that Kaitlyn even responded to some of her friends! I also want to recognize Emma, for a very detailed and specific comment! Way to go Seussville Citizens.
The r is the hardest.
Today I learned the first letter of Ryans name.
The w is my faveret letterer this week.
